Welcome to episode 27 of our celebrity news commentary! This week we are continuing our exploration of the negative rhetoric on a certain aspect of the Youtube universe that insults other successful males to get more clicks and views. Consider the case of Kwame Brown and Hassan Campbell, a troll who wanted more views on Youtube and began insulting Kwame – but I am sure that he didn’t expect to be called out by Kwame face to face on his show. The back and forth between them continues.
We are also discussing the continuing fallout over Dababy’s comments at Rolling Loud, with the Queen of Pop Madonna speaking out as well. I think this does indeed cement Dababy as an Icon as he said earlier this week, with the likes of Madonna and Elton John paying a gangster rapper from the Carolinas attention. Add this to Nicki Minaj’s comments after the Jamaican track star Elaine Thompson-Herah won the 100m sprint at the Tokyo Olympics – were shots fired in the direction of Sha’carri Richardson? Plus much more.
